Frankenstein- the movie vs. the book


-At the begining of the book the captain said that he saw the monster and viscor chasing eachother on the sledge but in the movie we only see Victor Frankenstein
-In the book william has two brithers, but in the movie, he only has one.
-In the movie, when the professor of the university dies, Victor follows his books to create life, but in the movie, he found his own way to create lofe.
-In the film, justine loves Victor, but in the book it does'nt say anything about this.
-Victors mother died giving birth in the film, but in the book, she died of an illness.
-In the book, willam and elisabeth comunicated by letters. In the film Elisabeth went to visit him in his laboratory.
-There is an epedemic of cholera, but in the book, there is no such thing.
-Henry Clerval knew about Frankensteins experiments in the film, but in the book he did'nt
-Williams laboratory is in a village in the film , and on a island in the book.
-In the film Justine is hung for murdering williams brother, but in the book she is only put in jail.
-There is no trial for Justine in the film.
-Victor builds a female monster for himself, but when she is brought alive she does'nt love
Dr,frankenstein but the first monster that he created in the film, and in the book victor made the second monster before elisabeth died.
-In the book the monster helped the girl that fell into the water. In the film he does'nt.
-When Victor and Elizabeth are on their honey moon the monster kills Elizabeth pulling out her heart out of her chest and in the book the monster kills Elizabeth by strangling her.
-In the book Henry and Victor met when they were children, but in the book they first met in th university.
-In the book Victor is sent to prison for a while, in the book this does'nt happen.
-The monster kills himself by burning the body of himself and Victor, but in the book he kills himself.
-In the film ,the monster kills Victor’s father but in the book Victor’s father dies because of the death of Elizabeth.

It was quite an enjoyable film to watch, it makes you think, ''what if we could give life to somehting that is already dead?''
